Privacy Policy

QuickTix Pro ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use our platform as an event Organizer or ticket Buyer.

By using QuickTix Pro, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

From Organizers:

  • Account information: name, email address, password (hashed), phone number.
  • Business information: business name, address, EIN/Tax ID, website, business type.
  • Payment and banking information for merchant account setup and payouts.
  • Event data: event names, descriptions, dates, ticket types, pricing, and images.
  • Customer contact lists that you upload, import, or manually add for marketing your own events. These contacts may include names, email addresses, phone numbers, and any tags or notes you assign. These contacts are yours; QuickTix Pro stores them on your behalf so you can send messages through our platform, and we do not market to them on our own behalf. You can export, edit, or delete these contacts at any time from your dashboard.
  • Usage data: login activity, dashboard interactions, and feature usage.

From Ticket Buyers:

  • Name and email address provided at checkout.
  • Phone number (if SMS delivery is selected).
  • Payment information (processed securely by our payment processor — we do not store full card numbers).
  • Ticket and order history.

From Notify-Me Subscribers (annual recurring events):

  • Email address (required) and optional mobile phone number, provided when you sign up to be notified about an upcoming year of an annual event.
  • The specific event series you subscribed to.
  • Acceptance of these Privacy and Terms policies at the time of subscription, including timestamp.

Notify-me subscribers receive a single email (and optional SMS) when the event organizer publishes that year's dates. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any notify-me message or by contacting us.

Automatically collected:

  • IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system.
  • Pages visited, time spent, and referral sources.
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies.
  • When you accept our Terms of Service or Privacy Policy at signup or notify-me subscription, we record a receipt: the policy version, the timestamp, the IP address you accepted from, and your browser's user-agent string. We retain these receipts for the life of your account as a record of your informed consent.
  • Support communications: when you contact our support team, we retain the content of your messages, your contact details, and any attachments you share so we can resolve your issue and improve our service. Support tickets are retained for five years after resolution or as required by law.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and manage your account.
  • Process ticket purchases and facilitate payouts to Organizers.
  • Deliver tickets via email or SMS.
  • Send transactional communications (order confirmations, entry reminders, event updates).
  • Display in-app notifications to event Organizers about their account, events, payouts, and platform changes. These are stored in our database and shown on the dashboard until dismissed.
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud and abuse.
  • Improve and develop our platform and features.
  • Comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.
  • Respond to customer support requests.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Sharing of Information

We share your information only in the following circumstances:

  • With Organizers: Ticket Buyers' names, email addresses, and order details are shared with the Organizer of the event purchased.
  • With payment processors: Payment data is transmitted to our payment processor (Nuvei) to complete transactions securely.
  • With SMS providers: Phone numbers are shared with Twilio solely to deliver ticket confirmations and event communications. Standard message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out at any time.
  • With email providers: Email addresses are shared with SendGrid solely to deliver ticket confirmations and event communications.
  • With legal authorities: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
  • In a business transfer: If QuickTix Pro is acquired or merged, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

4. Third-Party Services

QuickTix Pro uses the following third-party services to operate the platform. Each has its own privacy policy:

  • Nuvei — Payment processing. Handles all card data in a PCI-DSS compliant environment.
  • Twilio — SMS delivery for ticket confirmations and event alerts.
  • SendGrid — Transactional email delivery for ticket confirmations and receipts.

5. SMS Communications & Opt-Out

When you provide your mobile phone number during ticket checkout, you consent to receive SMS messages from QuickTix Pro and the event organizer. These messages may include:

  • Ticket purchase confirmations and QR codes.
  • Event reminders and day-of instructions.
  • Post-event follow-ups and upcoming event announcements from the organizer.

Message frequency varies depending on your ticket purchases and events attended. Message and data rates may apply.

To opt out of SMS messages at any time, reply STOP to any message you receive. For help, reply HELP or contact us at support@quicktixpro.com. When you reply STOP to any SMS from QuickTix Pro, we permanently record your phone number in an opt-out registry so that no QuickTix Pro merchant can text you again from our platform — even if a different organizer later imports your number into their list.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data and consent is not shared with any third party.

6. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Keep you signed in to your account.
  • Remember your preferences (e.g., dark/light mode).
  • Analyze platform usage to improve our product.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features of the platform may not function correctly without them.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you close your account:

  • Event and order data is retained for 180 days for dispute resolution purposes.
  • After 180 days, your personal data is deleted from our active systems.
  • Certain data may be retained longer if required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.

8. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:

  • HTTPS encryption for all data in transit.
  • Hashed and salted password storage — we never store plain-text passwords.
  • PCI-DSS compliant payment processing — we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • Access controls limiting who within our team can access personal data.

No system is completely secure. In the event of a data breach that affects your rights, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to our retention obligations.
  • Opt-out: Opt out of non-transactional marketing communications at any time.
  • Portability: Request your data in a portable format.

10. Children's Privacy

QuickTix Pro is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on our platform and, where appropriate, by email. Your continued use of QuickTix Pro after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
